Once Insulin is released by the pancreas, it goes to work, fast and furious!

Insulin circulates around telling specific cells of the body to take up the glucose and get it out of the blood (I).  Once in the cells, the glucose either be utilized for energy (J), stored as glycogen (nicely folded and packed super energy form) (K), or taken in by liver cells and used to make fat (L).
